Verse iTal Official Launch

Among family, fans, close friends and specially invited media personalities, Verse iTal officially launched his debut album Love Cry at a cocktail reception at the Coco Lounge on March 26th. The evening included two special performances, with Verse successfully thrilling the attendees with a set which included the title track Love Cry, Foh Mama, Jah Puzzle, Nyquil and a pore-raising acoustic version of Mr. Officer.  In the supportive, ambient warmth, guests of every age could be seen singing the lyrics, matching the rhythm with their tapped feet or simply nodding in agreement with the deep sentiments that characterises Verse's songs. With the use of potent background images, Verse succeeded in having all present truly understand his musical plea for a more caring society, his own personal "Love Cry". A wonderfully successful evening that is sure to remain etched in Verse's memories and all in attendance.

Excitement at the Verse Ital camp as Verse is selected to make an appearance at the I Am Legend concert; a collaboration of the internationally acclaimed reggae godfathers Buju Banton and Beres Hammond, March 22nd at the Queen's Park Savannah , and March 23rd at The Dwight Yorke Stadium. When asked how he felt about performing at this event Verse had this to say: "I feel very privileged to perform on the same stage as these two legends... Buju, without a doubt, has been one of my greatest influences".


First Releases for Verse iTal

After much anticipation, Verse Ital releases the singles Jah Puzzle and Nyquil off of his debut album Love Cry, with the latter wasting no time in enjoying live airplay on its release date. Verse's first video features both tracks, and was simultaneously released to both local and international media houses.
